{"id":9982,"date":"2019-02-12T10:00:33","date_gmt":"2019-02-12T15:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/?p=9982"},"modified":"2020-08-26T09:57:53","modified_gmt":"2020-08-26T13:57:53","slug":"best-icebreaker-for-your-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/best-icebreaker-for-your-event\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Determine the Best Icebreaker for Your Event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9983\" src=\"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/How-to-Determine-the-Best-Icebreaker-for-Your-Event.png\" alt=\"Tips for figuring out the best icebreaker for your event!\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/How-to-Determine-the-Best-Icebreaker-for-Your-Event.png 600w, https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/How-to-Determine-the-Best-Icebreaker-for-Your-Event-200x300.png 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Recently my sister sent me a text asking if I could send her an icebreaker idea for their next women\u2019s ministry meeting.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I peppered her with questions about her event and its set-up.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What\u2019s the purpose of the event?<\/li>\n<li>What\u2019s the event theme?<\/li>\n<li>How many women will there be?<\/li>\n<li>How will they be seated?<\/li>\n<li>Do you want them to get up and mingle with others in the room?<\/li>\n<li>Do you want them to connect with those seated at their table?<\/li>\n<li>How much time do you want to fill?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As I prepare to lead the icebreakers at two upcoming conferences, I realized these are the same questions I\u2019m asking too!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s the best icebreaker?<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I thought it might be helpful to create a guide for you to walk through too, as you determine the best icebreaker for your event or meeting.<\/p>\n<h3>Grab a piece of paper and jot down the answers to these questions:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>What is the purpose of the event or meeting?<\/li>\n<li>What\u2019s the event theme?<\/li>\n<li>Does the icebreaker need to connect with that theme?<\/li>\n<li>How many women will be in attendance?<\/li>\n<li>How will the room be set-up?
