I love taking a \u201ctraditional\u201d icebreaker game and putting a holiday-themed spin on it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants in this game will have two tasks to accomplish.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First, they\u2019ll have to figure out what Christmas person, song, or thing has been taped to their back.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then they\u2019ll have to find their other half <\/strong>somewhere else in the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve included 3 different sets of cards<\/strong> for you to use: Christmas movie couples, Christmas symbols, and Christmas songs<\/strong>. You could even combine sets if you want to make it more challenging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christmas Couples Icebreaker Game<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Group size:\u00a0<\/strong>8 \u2013 22 If your group is larger you\u2019ll need to make additional cards, use more than one set of cards, or divide into smaller groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time needed:<\/strong> <\/strong>20 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supplies:<\/strong> <\/strong>Tape, copy of Christmas Couple Cards (Christmas movie couples, Christmas song couples, Christmas symbol couples).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instructions:<\/strong> <\/strong>Prior to your party\/event print and cut the game cards (do not show anyone the cards).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Explain to the group that they are going to get a Christmas couple\/symbol\/song (depending on which you are using) taped onto their back. They will have two tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. First they must figure out what or who they are. They must ask the others in the room questions about their card \u2013 only yes and no answers can be given. For example, am I a cartoon character? You may only ask one question of each person in the room. (If you group is smaller than you may want to tell them they can only ask 2 questions of each person.)<\/li>
  2. After you have figured out what your card says you need to find the other half of your \u201ccouple\u201d.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Once everyone understands the game, go around the room taping one card to the back of each player \u2013 make sure they do not see what is on their card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Once everyone has a card on their back let the game begin! The first two people to figure out their card and find their match wins. Winners can receive bragging rights, candy cane, or door prizes<\/a> \u2013 your choice!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Notes:<\/strong>  <\/strong>I\u2019ve included blank cards in each set so you can add your own Christmas Couples. Want to make it more challenging? Pull couples from each set of cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
