Thanks!<\/p>\n<p>Okay, so the best way I can think to do this is to work backwards.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ve got to <strong>start with the date you have to confirm your lodging numbers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll need to adjust the dates according to the contracts you have signed and direction from your Pastoral staff.<\/p>\n<p><a bags<\/a>, pray, and anything else that needs to be done<\/li>\n<li>Send reminder letter or note including driving directions to your attendees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Two weeks<\/strong> <strong>prior to retreat date<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Train <a href=\"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/discussion-group-leaders-for-your-retreat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">discussion group leaders<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Touch base with your <a href=\"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/how-to-find-a-speaker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener href=\"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/retreat-planning-team\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">retreat planning team<\/a> meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>8 months to 1 year prior to retreat<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Keep in mind these decisions will likely take 1-2 months to determine, if not more. There will be a lot of research involved. Don&#8217;t go it alone! Enlist your women&#8217;s ministry team to help with the research and decision making.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select and reserve <a href=\"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/where-should-you-go-for-your-womens-ministry-retreat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">retreat location <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/when-should-have-womens-ministry-retreat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">retreat date<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Prayerfully select <a href=\"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/day-5-how-to-pick-a-retreat-theme\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">retreat theme<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Prayerfully select<a href=\"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/how-to-find-a-speaker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> speaker<\/a> and\/or <a href=\"https:\/\/womensministrytoolbox.com\/different-types-of-retreats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">format for the retreat<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All that being said \u2013 <strong>God is bigger than any timeline<\/strong> I can put together. I have shared previously that we were not supposed to have a retreat this year. But God impressed upon the hearts of our women\u2019s ministry co-leaders that we were going to go on retreat in spite of their plans. The entire planning process was condensed to 4 months from start to finish.<\/p>\n<p>If God says \u201cGo!\u201d then go!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Sweet sisters: May God bless and direct your retreat plans. May He send all the help you need to carry out each part and piece. May He forever change the lives of your women that attend.
