I was brainstorming recently with a friend about ways she could break the ice with her new team at work. Her team is quite small. I knew the 4 C\u2019s icebreaker game<\/a> would be a great one for her to use!<\/p>\n She was also looking for a fun way to find out what kinds of things each member of her team likes.<\/p>\n Planning and gift-giving is a little easier if you know most of your team loves to eat Mexican or that Susie loves Twix Bars.<\/p>\n After thinking about it for a bit, I came up with a brand new icebreaker<\/strong> <\/em>I call \u201cA Few of My Favorite Things<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n Use this game to:<\/strong><\/p>\n Icebreaker:<\/strong> A Few of My Favorite Things<\/p>\n Supplies:<\/strong> One form per person of \u201cA Few of My Favorite Things\u201d (there are 4 per sheet \u2013 you\u2019ll need to cut them in advance), pen or pencil for each person, paper bag or manila envelope for each group<\/p>\n Time needed:<\/strong> 15 minutes<\/p>\n Group size:<\/strong> 5 \u2013 12 (divide into multiple groups if needed)<\/p>\n Instructions:<\/strong> Divide into smaller groups if needed. Distribute \u201cA Few of My Favorite Things\u201d form to each group member and give them just a couple of minutes to complete the form. Have them place their form inside the paper bag or envelope. Once all forms are complete, read each form and have the (small) group guess which person the form belongs to.<\/p>\n Click the link to download the free PDF: A Few of My Favorite Things<\/a><\/p>\n Notes:<\/strong> Even if your women\u2019s ministry team has been together for a while, you might be surprised by the new things you discover about each other. Keep the forms or take good notes so you can use these details about your team for conversation, planning, and future gift purchases.<\/p>\n If you are using these to collect info for Secret Sisters, you\u2019ll need to have them write their names on each form and one person will need to distribute the form (email, photo, or the form itself) to their secret sister.<\/p>\n Have a great time getting to know your group better!<\/em><\/p>\n You may also want to read:<\/strong>\n
