We\u2019ve moved twice within the past three years. Not just down the road, but 10 hours west and 2 states away. And then 8 hours back east.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve had the opportunity not just to visit several churches, but to try to get plugged in once we\u2019ve found our new church homes.<\/p>\n

Back when we\u00a0moved to\u00a0Kentucky one of the pastor\u2019s wives invited me to my first event at the much bigger, main campus. I didn\u2019t even know where to park or which door to enter. I would have never gone if she hadn\u2019t invited me.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been about 3 months since I almost turned the car around and abandoned the idea of attending my first Women\u2019s Ministry event alone.<\/p>\n

Ya\u2019all even as much as I\u00a0love<\/strong> Women\u2019s Ministry, it was very hard for me to go alone to the first event at our new church home. I had no idea if I would know anyone. Not a single woman from our Sunday School class was in attendance. Every single face was new.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Having freshly walked in the shoes of the \u201cnew girl\u201d (again), I thought I\u2019d share a few things I\u2019ve learned.<\/p>\n

There are 3 things every \u201cnew girl\u201d needs:<\/span><\/h4>\n

1. Invitation<\/span> <\/strong>\u2013 It is highly unlikely that she\u2019s going to come to an event on her own. A personal invitation provides companionship and accountability. Consider inviting her to:<\/p>\n
