I was so excited to read of your experience distributing shoeboxes and I plan to read it Sunday followed by two of our women singing Jesu, Jesu, Fill Us with Your Love and then our pastor will pray over the shoeboxes. I am head of our ladies ministries and this is a ministry I enjoy heading too. We are a small church with maybe 60 -70 regular attendance but we manage to do 100 boxes to send around the world. Megan, Operation Christmas Child asks for a $7 donation to cover the costs of shipping the box, but it is not required. You only need to take the box to a drop-off location. There are thousands of drop-off locations listed on their website. If you pack a box online the shipping costs is included. It’s $25 this year to pack a box online.
